IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMS
In-Service training programs for facility staff and family members are an integral part of our duties in the facility. We provide these In-Service training programs to staff and family members on an on-going and as needed basis free of charge to our contracted facilities. There are many obvious advantages to this, first being increased staff understanding of appropriate referrals and case load.
More importantly though is the increased knowledge by the staff and families regarding psychological and emotional factors encountered in dealing with the geriatric population.
Facility staff and family members alike need to learn to cope with certain issues such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, loss and abandonment as well as grief, denial and issues relating to death and dying. This is a list of the most commonly asked for In-Service training programs. Should you desire a program not mentioned here, please call us with the topics and duration which will suit your needs and we will be happy to do our best to accommodate you. (800) 424-2686.
